In the heart of the Haut Ségala lotois, the lake of Tolerme is located between the foothills of the Massif Central and the Ségala. With its 38 hectares, it is the largest artificial lake in the department. From the lake, a 53-kilometre hiking trail, inaugurated in 2002, leads to the Banquet Gorge.
