LAC DES SAINTS-PEYRES

Located in a wooded setting, this artificial lake of about ten kilometres long is sometimes difficult to access but it is worth the effort. Although swimming is not allowed, it attracts fishermen and windsurfers. It is also dotted with numerous hiking trails and offers the possibility of picnicking in peace. From the lake, a 53-kilometre hiking trail, inaugurated in 2002, leads to the Banquet Gorge. Vertiginous, wedged between the rock and the thick forest, it is an astonishing spectacle that never disappoints.
