Caussade is a hat-making city. It is therefore hardly surprising to see the city placed every year under the sign of the hat! The festival takes place in July and pays tribute to the hat in all its forms. Milliners gather on this occasion to show their know-how. Hat exhibitions are also organized to give everyone the desire to buy a hat. Do not miss the competition and musical evenings that participate in the event. Every year the Flower Festival takes place in Bagnères-de-Luchon at the end of August. During several days, many activities are programmed such as running, election of Miss Flower, laser and pyrotechnic show, concerts, shows, bandas and batucada training... The highlight of the show is, of course, the parade of floats in flower in the town centre of Luchon on the last day. For its 2020 edition - the 121st! - the theme puts the French regions in the spotlight. A spectacular and particularly lively traditional festival, not to be missed!

5 festival days to present the diversity of audiovisual creation. Unpublished programs: music clips, television and film films, commercials, short films… Competitions are organised in each category, with different juries and many personalities. All of the projection sites are within walking distance. The entire profession is found in a iddylique framework: nature, snow, lagoon… and work! 15 000 entries in 2016, 160 projections… for this national festival that welcomes professional and general public.

In 2014, Alors... chante ! celebrates its 29th edition. The programming is always of high quality and we always appreciate more to listen to the best artists at the appointment. Among the guests of this 2014 season, it is possible to count Nathalie Matiembe, Florent Marchet, Gaëtan Roussel, Jacques Higelin, Renan Luce, Pascal Parisot, Jeanne Cherhal... for excellent evenings in perspective.

Popular and cultural, the Figeac Festival transforms the heart of the town into a lively stage. Ancient, modern or contemporary texts, there is something for every taste and every interpretation. A way of giving the impulse to quality shows that are often little-known. The other side of this cultural event is in Saint-Céré at the Théâtre de l'Usine where opera plays are programmed. An opportunity to promote great music to all audiences.

From Friday to Monday, the Fêtes historiques de Mirepoix is a recreation of a rich history, a magnificent setting, breathtaking costumes and motivated volunteers who are the secret behind this festival. Come and discover the medieval atmosphere in the heart of the magnificent city of Mirepoix, with a historical parade, night-time sketches, a medieval craft market, giant wooden games and a presentation of games from yesteryear. The festival closes with a torch-lit parade and a mass in Occitan.

The puppet has become for several years a multiform art. This art has its festival in our region. This festival takes place every two years, it is biennial. It is the 18th edition in 2015. An international festival of forms animated, like a window open on the invention and the imaginary one. The artistic teams circulate in the Toulouse South, in Tournefeuille and in Midi-Pyrenees... Many shows of quality, any public and for children.

The Giroussens ceramic centre is the result of a project carried out by two local associations, Terre et terres and Arts et poteries, in collaboration with the town hall of the municipality. It has been under the responsibility of the Gaillac-Graulhet urban community since 2017, and managed by an association composed of ceramists and enthusiasts, Giroussens céramique. This space allows the curious to discover ceramics from a new angle and through unusual creations. Its vast exhibition spaces host various artists throughout the year, generally four per year. On site, a shop dedicated to ceramics will allow visitors to acquire a unique souvenir.

The original idea of the friendship of the traders and craftsmen of the village is, now, a tradition attracting every Easter Monday from thousands of curious (and greedy). Made in a frying pan with huge proportions, it is accompanied by loaves of giant bread, some 15 000 eggs and, above all, a huge mood. An event not to be missed, to spend a good time and enjoy your family!

The holidays around 14 July are organized with the help of 450 volunteers and the active support of the 5 000 inhabitants. We see and hear Harley Davidson bikers, American cars, and many concerts. This festival, the first country music festival in Europe, welcomed 160 000 visitors in 2006. 73 concerts over 5 days, 2 000 dancers, over 16 hours of daily music: the hardest thing is to keep it!

Puppet festival and the theatre of objects.

In the Tarn et Garonne, here is a festival which has had a good reputation for 25 years! It is dedicated to Offenbach, in one of the most beautiful villages in France. It is a festival of opera and opéra-bouffe, in the natural setting of the castles, with professional singers. Recitals, aperitifs-concert, singing courses...Tables d'hôtes are set up at the end of the show and everyone can eat with the artists. It is a festival that we recommend.

At the height of summer, Beaumont-de-Lomagne celebrates white garlic in style! Numerous garlic producers gather to share their passion and know-how with gourmets. On the program: the sale of white garlic in all its forms, in bulk, in baskets, in braids..., and a host of events including competitions, culinary workshops for youngsters, exhibitions and sales of local and artisanal products, children's games and, of course, a gourmet meal! A popular festival not to be missed!

For more than 28 years, this festival entirely dedicated to drollets ("children" in Occitan) has been attracting young and old alike. During a weekend, the whole village of Simorre becomes a playground for the little ones. Circus, painting, pottery, music, board games, dance... with each workshop new discoveries. Just stroll through the streets and stop in front of the stands to discover a new activity. Of course, many street animations and shows will take place throughout the day!

The Centre d'art et de Photographie de Lectoure invites a number of contemporary artists to work together on a common theme. Videos, photos and works of art are exhibited in various locations around the town: Maison de la Photographie, the old courthouse, Halle aux Grains, Village des Brocanteurs, Jardin de la Cerisaie... You'll be given a map of the route and a list of exhibitors when you visit your first venue. While you're there, take the opportunity to visit the town.

It was at the foot of the town Angonia that, according to legend, a battle was fought where Christian and Saracens fought. Vidian, the leader of Christian troops lost his life as well as several of his companions. Every year since the middle of the th century, this episode is commemorated in a solemn ceremony where the Martrais dressed in colourful costumes make thanks to their Patron Saint and reconstruct the battle.

On this public holiday, the Nogaro arena traditionally hosts a major Landes race, in the form of the "Corne d'Or" competition. The best jumpers and spreaders show off their talents in front of seasoned cows, all under the watchful eye of sponsor Paul-Ricard (just to freshen up your breath...). The day's program includes bullfighting school demonstrations, a Gascon meal with traditional songs, and a tapas evening after the famous race!

Exceptional collection of masterpieces from the th to the th centuries (Picasso, Rodin, Monet…). With over 100 000 visitors, this exhibition is intended for all those, whether small or large, individually or as families, who wish to make a wonderful journey at the heart of European artistic currents.

Every year since 1992, the first weekend in August, from Thursday to Sunday, has been a joyous and convivial occasion to celebrate rural traditions, farm life and ancestral know-how, attracting several thousand people each year. A parade through the streets, a traditional dance, a craft market and a gourmet market. Everything is done to amaze the palates of even the most discerning gourmets. More than 700 volunteers take part with a large parade, tractors, cows and sheep, bringing to life the Couserans of yesteryear.

The birthplace of Déodat de Séverac (1872-1921), Saint-Felix-Lauragais hosts an annual festival in honour of this original and committed composer. Created in 1989 by the artist's grandson, it is now directed by the opera singer Jean-Jacques Cubaynes. Inheriting the spirit of Déodat de Séverac, the programme of concerts, courses, conferences and exhibitions is based on popular art to celebrate the richness of Occitan culture.

For the past thirty years, the Circa association has been promoting original creations around the circus arts. Each year, it organizes a festival of the current circus in the fall. The best circus troupes from France and the world perform under the big top. In addition to this festival, CIRCA welcomes circus artists in residence throughout the year. The centre provides a place for artists to rehearse, create and produce.

Presentation and sale of all "typical" regional products: capons, turkey, foie gras…

The creators and craftsmen are present in Martres for the love of earthenware. The craftsmen master earthenware, ceramics, porcelain, stoneware, and travel from France, the Netherlands, Spain or Algeria to present their achievements. Since 2021, a space is dedicated to young designers from the Occitania region. They are invited to compete for the "Young Designer Prize". Workshops and demonstrations are offered to the public. The show is a must for lovers of art and traditions!
