Méliné and Damien, two enthusiasts of natural wines and good food, have set up shop near Place Carnot to open a new concept in Lyon: a wine bar specializing in natural and biodynamic wines from around the world, to be tasted with made-to-measure boards. At Chenin N20, it's up to you to compose your own plank, according to your desires and budget, selecting from among the best artisanal, local or regional products. A 100% personalized service for a unique experience. Natural wines, with chenins at the top of the list, to be enjoyed in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with a chic bar, an upstairs dining room and a small terrace. The right Chenin for happiness.

The times are already scary and you want to add to it? If the answer is yes, go to the escape game that really scares. If you want to test your horror skills, welcome to Dark Experience. Two rooms and two stories worthy of a Stephen King novel with Amy, the horror version that will make you jump, and The Creature, the survival version in a world of darkness. All this is strongly advised against sensitive people, because you will become the "hero" of a real horror movie...

In our tiny living room, we really missed this Petit Salon. We even missed this neighborhood nestled along a railroad line in the ^7th arrondissement! In this nightlife spot, lovers of electro music, but also lovers of disco in another style, gather in two rooms with totally different decorations. One room is high-tech and contemporary, with images that punctuate the music. The other is decorated in the Empire style. A highly specialized program featuring the crème de la crème of DJs and musicians. Le Petit Salon also hosts exhibitions.

Saint-Paul isn't the only place to take the train. You can also enjoy a good glass of wine and travel through the terroirs of France and the world. La Cave des Voyageurs opened its doors opposite Vieux Lyon station over 25 years ago. This makes it Lyon's oldest wine bar. It's a Lyonnais address at heart, where you need to take your time to enjoy your meal. Superb selection. Emotionally-charged bottles and prices to match. See you in Lyly Land! For a warm and gourmet stopover in La Chapelle, after a hike. Settle down for a gourmet coffee, an ice cream sundae, a bubble-waffle topped with scoops of ice cream and sorbets, whipped cream, chocolate. You can also stock up on artisanal ice creams and sorbets in a variety of seasonal flavors in half-liter or liter tubs at this address. All in all, a hedonistic and regressive address. You can enjoy a pleasant terrace.

Elixir Bar Pub welcomes you with a smile and sympathy in a retro atmosphere with a touch of modernity. This warm place is ideal for sipping beer and other drinks with friends. On Fridays once a month, theme evenings are offered: tasting, karaoke, disco... Every month, a concert is offered by local musicians. The musical genres are very wide: pop rock, Irish music, French song... At the quiet corner of the Griffon Street and the Rosemary street, this tea salon offers more than a hundred different types of teas, but also Colombian, Ethiopian or House coffee, sugar flavoured with violet jams or cranberry… Certainly what to do the happiness of all lovers of fine snacks in this tea and coffee lounge near the Opera. You can even enjoy breakfast at eight o'clock in the morning. In this chic interior with jazzy music, the café is king. The water is filtered with a softener so that it does not alter its perfume. Cocktails based on coffee, milk or chocolate will be offered. Here tea is served in an original and unusual way, on one side a beautiful steaming teapot, on the other a transparent glass and a flower of tea. It takes in the glass containing hot water and then after infusion, it opens into corolla and gives a delicate scent. Homemade ice creams with refined fragrances, an apple pie, praline pie, caramels to Charente-Poitou butter, fruit or chocolate cakes, madeleines allow to complete this excellent range of products which are also available for sale. An address where each one finds cup to its measure.

There aren't many tea rooms in the Ardèche, and when we find one that's also one of the friendliest in the area, we're in for a treat! You'll soon feel right at home in this cosy atmosphere, with its carefully-crafted vintage decor inside and shady, Mediterranean-style courtyard out back. The cuisine is inventive, depending on what's on the menu at any given moment, so it's always changing, to the delight of our taste buds.

Nestled in a construction of the th century, in the pedestrian city centre, it has a terrible stamp, this coffee, with its stones, its exposed beams and its rustic furniture! And above all, in Jeanne, it is an institution in Bourg-en-Bresse. The establishment, created in 1957 by the mother of the current owner, saw the whole walking burgienne passing. Since its inception, the Raides Raides Group has been home to each of its passages in the city, as well as the accordionist Jean Corti.

On every Tuesday of the month, Jeanne also hosts a Philosophy Café.

Not to be missed for its originality and good spirit! It's hard to get more authentic! At the Savoie Bar, no one cheats or puts on an act. In a place where it would be so tempting to catch tourists in its nets, the Savoie Bar does not compromise to share with us a passion for the good things in life. So, you absolutely have to sit on the terrace to admire the beautiful Savoyard frontage and to savor the good local air. When the temperature drops, we take advantage of it to chat at the counter around a black coffee or to taste an excellent glass of Savoy wine as an aperitif or an old-fashioned mulled wine to warm up. At lunchtime and on Saturday evenings, we serve home-made family cuisine.

Anthony Vendrange is now working on the aperitif, a unique concept in Saint-Etienne, halfway between a tapas bar and a delicatessen, based on French and mostly local products. On the grocery side, the choice is wide: terrines, spreads, pickles, chips, fruit juices, organic aperitifs, beers, digestives and quality wines. On the bar side, the appetizer boards are appetizing with assortments of cold cuts, cheeses and other irresistible delicacies to spread. Don't miss the take-away boxes or the animations to be experienced on site!

Lo Garâjo is an ingenious high-altitude concept! The former garage, conveniently located between village and resort, has been transformed into a trendy café-lounge-bar-grocery store. A large glassed-in workshop facade, brocante-style furnishings, juice and craft beer bar, delicatessen, ceramics corner, decorative objects, ephemeral gallery... and small-scale catering throughout the day with live concerts in the evening. It's a hybrid, friendly place, just the way we like it. From the terrace, the view of the mountains is splendid (sun hat and plaid provided).

Barathi is a colorful cocktail bar that will take you on vacation for an evening, thanks to its tropical decor and Indian and Reunionese specialties. An added bonus is the creation of cocktails using fresh fruit. Our favorite is the "Pyaar", a floral cocktail made with vodka, strawberry, lychee and rose syrup. On the menu, you'll also find smoothies, homemade lemonade, and even wine and spirits, all accompanied by delicious tapas!

The success of the Beer Garden is such that it is often difficult to find a place on the weekends, but who cares, you can help yourself by holding your glass in your hand! Here, all the beers offered are 100% craft beers and local is privileged: IPA, fruit beers, sour beer... there is no lack of choice! And if you don't come especially for the beer, you'll definitely come back for the delicious home-made dishes. You can enjoy some of the bistro-style proposals, between carbonnade, burger or even magret, with French fries as a must!

The Gaga Jazz association now has its own venue for all kinds of jazz. The venue occupies the space of the former Comédie restaurant, and welcomes top names from France and abroad. Several concerts a week can be booked, programmed by a team of improvisational music lovers. The venue regularly updates its social networks. Stay tuned for details of scheduled evenings. Around 130 seats in this intimate venue, which plays on proximity with the artists.

Café-cycliste, a category we didn't include in our guide! In the old Duingt railway station, along the cycle path that circles the lake, it's impossible to miss Le Bon Wagon. A multi-faceted venue with one common denominator: bicycles. Terrace and refreshment room with a café - delicious small dishes, quality coffees, craft beers, cold drinks - a boutique (everything for bikes), a bike rental service and a host of services to help you get back on your bike with peace of mind, such as a tool kiosk and an inflation station.

The Casino Impérial, it's royal! A dream setting facing Lake Annecy in a building open to the outside. A hotel created more than a century ago, combining its Belle Epoque forms with a modernity of the best taste. Inaugurated in 1989, the Transbo is one of Lyon's must-see stages, and has now been given a facelift to present a permanent festival featuring a mix of the world's best bands. In the heart of the Pentes, Le Bec de Jazz seems out of time with its Bird style club atmosphere. The walls are covered with the gigantic paintings of the owner. Tchangodei sometimes lets his fingers run over the piano to treat the regulars to his compositions. Unjustly unknown jazzman, this Beninese by origin and Lyonnais by adoption, has participated in about twenty albums. In his establishment, of which you have to become a symbolically contributing member, the hours don't count and you come out in the early morning, drunk with music and fresh (or almost) as a rose.

A Phantom who appears every evening in the long Rue Royale to invite us to follow him into his cosy den or onto the small summer terrace. For more than 10 years now, the Fantôme has been expressing its imagination in this lively place where you can meet new people. Life, love, sharing, to tip over to the cocktail side of the force on a soundtrack that reflects the image of the place: liberated. All the art of mixology is expressed in original creations made from drinks and ingredients selected with particular care to satisfy our curiosity and pleasure. The Café de la Table Ronde, founded in 1739, is one of the oldest cafés in France - second only to the Procope in Paris. A lively historical place, the Café de la Table Ronde is a place where people like to go to drink at wide hours, but also to eat on one of the most beautiful terraces of the city. It is the ideal place to enjoy a good Chartreusito, a mojito with Chartreuse. An address of tradition, lively and unmissable.

In the heart of the city, this film classified "art and trial" offers four rooms and four films, it caters to all urban lovers of the large screen and the latest films to the poster. There are also films in VO, very popular. This cinema has restored beauty for more comfort.

Opened in 1940, in the Spirit of Modern Art, the Astrée meets current standards. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility with the creation of a lift, ramps, acoustic insulation, 370 seats instead of 500 to provide more comfort, club chairs, reversible air conditioning… You can rediscover the frescoes nested in the hall vaults, covered in the 1970 s by tapestry. Carried out by the painter Savoyard René Maria Burlet (also author of the Church of Saint Pierre de Market Church) and unveiled in 1942, they are based on the book of the Astrée d'Honoré D'Urfé, dating from the late th century, with a champêtre and mysterious world.

Let yourself be carried away by this great Irish river, The Shannon. A river that has been flowing through an entire country and Grenoble for over 30 years! The Shannon is an authentic pub where you can enjoy a wide range of beers with friends: fruity, bottled or draught, with new in-house releases on a regular basis. All in a traditional setting, with a variety of objects brought back from Ireland. The good humor, conviviality, welcome and friendliness of the proprietor contribute to this happy Celtic atmosphere. Samy Frey, Gérard Depardieu, Claude Lelouch, Bébel and Pierce Brosnan: they all adorn the façade of Chamonix's Vox cinema. This is to be expected, given that each of them has at one time or another shot a film or scene in Mont Blanc country. It's a pity the fresco wasn't done later, as Clint Eastwood and Cécile de France could have appeared in the trompe-l'oeil windows created by A. Fresco. Inside, three 3D digital cinemas offer a wide choice of French and foreign films in French and - oh miracle in Haute-Savoie - original versions. Who said there were too many British tourists in Chamonix? Not the film buffs!

A national franchise, a French Coffee Shop is a bit like a neighborhood bar version 2.0, where people come to drink a more sophisticated coffee than a little black at the counter by connecting to the Internet. As a result, people exchange less, and it's sometimes a sketch to see two people sitting next to each other absorbed by their keyboards rather than talking to each other... That's the way things are, and it's a good thing the French Coffee Shop team is on hand to bring a smile and a friendly atmosphere. Since last year, however, the clientele has changed, and the few encounters you could make here seem more hazardous. There's less desire to share your impressions of a macchiato when it's cold or a milkshake when it's hot on the terrace... It's a pity that this address, despite its interesting concept, has taken a direction that we don't necessarily want to follow.

For the past seventeen years, they've been breaking our ears in a good way with good sound! A Lyon institution for lovers of rock in the broadest sense of the term (punk, indie, garage, post-punk, stoner, etc.), with an average of three concerts a week. The terrace is a godsend on long summer evenings, and the vaulted cellar room could tell a tale of its own. In short, the Trokson is a rock bar where you can meet unexpected people.

8 years since we said yes to Le Ouistiti. A little monkey who welcomes us into a warm and welcoming room, with a beer cellar to keep you fed even when the bar is closed. It's just behind the Bonlieu center, and the place to come for a local craft beer, or a well-chosen glass of wine accompanied by a platter of artisan charcuterie and farmhouse cheeses. Rums and whiskies are also on offer, and the cocktails are delicious. At lunchtime on weekdays, you can indulge in a carefully thought-out home-cooked meal, with snacked red mullet fillets, celeriac mousseline, roasted fennel and roasted hazelnuts. Live music and a festive spirit.

The address that cheers us up, even on a rainy November day! An authentic melted chocolate bar that's a real treat, even in summer when we're invited to dip our iced eskimo in one of Valrhona's signature melted chocolates. A choice of great chocolate vintages for dipping with your seasonal fruits. Chocolate that can also cover waffles, crêpes, cheesecake... And don't forget topping with an extra layer of deliciousness! Hot chocolate in winter, milkshakes and Patrick Font fruit juices to accompany the chocolate delights. Brunch menu available daily between 11:30am and 2:30pm. Go for it!

For six years now, Papas Sucrés has been pampering us from Wednesday to Sunday, bruncheurs' day! A delightful tearoom in the Ainay district, near Bellecour, to spoil us with delicious products. Cakes made on site by Grégory behind the stove. Tasty toasts, well-composed salads and delicious 100% homemade cakes that give pleasure with every bite. A succession of delights to share. The other dad in the dining room is Jonathan. Snacks at lunchtime, sweet cakes, fresh lemonade and regional fruit juices, creamy hot chocolate with cookies and muffins, delicious homemade waffles, pancakes and, in summer, bubble tea. Sweet (and not just sweet) pleasures.

In Saint-Galmier, the KFT, nestled in a 16th century cloister whose terrace overlooks the listed arcades, is a renowned café-theatre. Not only can you enjoy delicious home-made tapas, accompanied by a glass of champagne in the open-air formula, but you can also enjoy a wide variety of shows. The eclectic programme includes magic, theatre of course, humour and improvisation. On the programme this year are headliners Christophe Alévêque in January, Gil Alma and Benoît Joubert in February and Anne Roumanov in May. Beer O'Clock, or BoC for those of you who know it well! After wine, it's time for beer, a divine beverage elevated to the status of a beverage to be enjoyed (always in moderation) in specialized bars. At this "Place to Beer", on the lively, gourmet side of the Faubourg, beer lovers are free to discover beers from here and elsewhere (prepaid cards required), thanks to the 12 taps lined up on a pretty wooden counter. There's nothing we like better than a draught beer served by passionate beer lovers. Beers from all over the world, from the most classic to the rarest craft beers, regularly changing with new flavors. Meet the brewers.

Near the priory and the magnificent volcanic peak of Saint Romain-le-Puy, we can really say that Superfluous has everything for him. With a sumptuous golf course, the hotel also offers unforgettable evenings during the weekend. The dinner dinner formula is really interesting. You will taste a very good traditional seasonal cuisine with constantly renewed dishes and once the coffee is served, the restaurant team changes costumes and walks for an hour and a half of sketches, visual numbers, imitations, songs… The evening ends in the disco with dancing and karaoke animations.

The Paddy's Corner is a must in its red suit - green for Saint Patrick's Day - and offers not only famous beers like Kilkenny, but also lively evenings with live concerts or wild darts games. Everyone comes to their senses to cheer on their favorite team on the big screen. All this while whistling an Irish music tune, before the traditional Pub Quiz. And to get the tip of the snout out of that rabbit hole, terrace on both sides!

Between Rue de la Ré and the street of President Herriot, Rue des Quatre Chapeaux is an invitation to take a break in the urban hustle and bustle. An invitation to relax and indulge yourself, as Pimprenelle is open right next to Pozzoli's. It took three months of work so that Pimprenelle -name of one of the fairies which leaned over the cradle of the sleeping beauty- takes on its final form. In your turn, let yourself be lulled by the beauty of this place where you immediately feel comfortable and happy to share delightful moments on a large table within a decor displaying soft colours. A friendly and charming team serves all the seasonal homemade delicacies. Of course, there are teas, more than twenty, made by Comptoir Français du Thé to kick off the day or during tea time. Breakfast, lunch with hot toast, -such as this summer aubergine with goat cheese, another salmon or one with Lyon sausage-, cold toasts -chicken, raw vegetable, Chorizo peppers…- tasty dishes -salmon or duck- and salads, not to forget the soups in winter and all the small cakes to enjoy at any time. Brunch every Sunday. A new tearoom as we like it to be for well-deserved rest and meal in the heart of the city.

The Chaplin cinema in Rive-de-Gier is equipped with 265 seats, including a balcony accessible to disabled guests. The second room of 98 seats is air conditioned but not accessible to disabled guests. To see blockbusters, this rather family cinema is more affordable than the Saint Etienne multiplexes. Programs favor great movies. A good reason not to deprive and spend a very good time in a dark room with family or friends. Children's films are provided during school holidays.

When was the last time you laughed at a show? Head for the Complexe, where you'll be looked after by a smiling team. Here, the show begins before the show, with a glass of sangria and a few tapas. You can eat, drink, chat and even fizz while waiting for the show to start, whether you're in the upstairs or downstairs room. Excellent programming with a strong comedic bent, to be followed on the Complexe website. Just one word of advice: make sure you book in advance, especially on weekends, as the Lyonnais really appreciate this venue. Every Saturday evening, stand-up at the Complexe Comedy Club.

In the same vein as the famous Boui-Boui, this café-theater under the direction of Stéphane Casez is in a way the cousin of the Croix-Rousse. Opened more than 10 years ago in a former bakery on the plateau, the Rideau Rouge has a small air-conditioned room where people like to come with friends to see a wide variety of shows, happily mixing 100% Lyon comedies and prestigious headliners. The Rideau Rouge has teamed up with the neighboring Café de la Soie to offer complete evenings of dinner and show with an all-inclusive formula.
