LÉON DE BRUXELLES
Read moreThe famous mussels of Léon in Brussels await you only a few kilometres from Amiens. The location is not ideal if you have nothing to do in the commercial area of Glisy, but what has made the success of the lesson is there: a warm atmosphere, and recipes for delicious moulds. The prices are reasonable and there is a playground for children. A sign that is wrong: The restaurant is still crowded on weekends. If you wish to do so, don't hesitate!

LE BISTROT DES ARTS
Read moreIt is a Compiègne institution where it is good to sit down to enjoy the good food and the bistro atmosphere, as its name suggests. The reference to the arts is not usurped either, with paintings on the walls of this luminous establishment with an authentic decor. This qualifier can also be found on the plate, with good French gastronomy either as part of a very affordable lunch formula or à la carte. We suggest you the "mitonné de boeuf à la picarde", white bean purée with 4 spices and the profiteroles with salted butterscotch caramel sauce.

L'EDITO
Read morePrinting becomes the Editorial, but for the rest, nothing changes. It is always the biggest brasserie of Picardy, with 250 seats spread over two floors. Side dish, here either, no revolution: the owner Didier Bertin offers a menu for everyone. Burgers, sauerkraut, fajitas, mussels, woks, pizzas... Without forgetting the classics like tournedos Rossini or the salmon Tartar dill. For dessert, you can also have pancakes. It is simple: the Editorial, they are six restaurants in one! The icing on the cake: affordable rates and a lounge atmosphere at. An address that does not lack character, but however is not one of the most remarkable of the city

LE SEPT
Read moreIf there is a giant screen at the entrance that broadcasts continuous trailers, don't expect to find a restaurant dedicated to cinema inside: the decoration is rather sober and modern in design, with a play of soft lights on one side and bright lights on the other thanks to the large bay windows. The kitchen, on the first floor, is visible from the outside. The menu gives pride of place to fish, woks and tartars. There is also a good choice of burgers, salads and specialities such as Picardy twine and welsh. A refined cuisine, nicely served in harmoniously shaped dishes. A stop that will quickly become a must before or after the cinema!

LA BRASSERIE DES PROVINCES
Read moreAn oasis of comfort lost right in the middle of the northern industrial zone, this brasserie looks like a motorway relay where you can restore yourself in a variety of ways. It is a 110-seat brasserie, a bar, a snack and even a catering service, the evening upon reservation. In all cases, the reception is smiling and warm. However, it should be noted that the brewery is closed on weekends.
HOTEL IBIS
Read moreThe hotel has a restaurant in the evening. If you can't say it's the ideal place to go to eat, since the main purpose of the site is to restore the hotel guests, and therefore the atmosphere can be a bit gloomy, so the dishes are pretty good, and the service relatively warm. Furthermore, the restaurant is located in the city centre.

LES BISTROTS DE PAYS DE LA SOMME
Read moreBistrots de Pays are festive places where you can meet people, help out and (re)discover local dishes, and reconnect with the roots of a region and its own culture. This label recognizes establishments that promise simple, tasty, convivial and authentic moments. What are the criteria for becoming one of these ambassadors of the Somme terroir? To be part of a rural area, and to be locally rooted, often by offering a range of services. One of the aims of the Bistrot de Pays is to help preserve the economic and social fabric of villages with fewer than 2,000 inhabitants, which have seen their businesses disappear one by one. Often the last surviving shop, a Bistrot de Pays is first and foremost a place where local people can meet and talk, and should offer groceries and products from small local farmers, as well as other services such as a newsagent's or a bread depot... In short, everything that is no longer available elsewhere in the village. By proposing events, it plays an ever-increasing role in maintaining the human link around it throughout the year. But it must also act as a kind of beacon for visitors, providing local tourist information in the same way as a friend who welcomes you into his home and advises you on points of interest not to be missed... In this way, the Bistrot de Pays label is inseparable from the Qualité Tourisme label. And of course, true to its primary vocation, it must offer local dishes, based on fresh, local produce.
The Conseil départemental de la Somme, concerned with preserving social ties and economic activity in rural areas, encourages the men and women who, through their day-to-day catering and entertainment activities, keep the villages of the Somme alive and kicking. The label is demanding, and is re-evaluated every year, to guarantee a real quality of service. In the Somme, six establishments currently meet all these valuable qualities: L'Auberge du Vert Bocage in Bouillancourt-en-Sery, Le Ch'ti Quin Quend in Quend, Au coin de la Baie in Grand-Laviers, Les Chés Troes Piots Coéchons in Woignarue, Le Cheval Blanc in Naours and L'Auberge du village in Conty.
Happy discovering the Somme!
