A short while ago, Alexis and Vianney embarked on a crazy adventure: creating a microbrewery in Chablis from Burgundy malts. Their beers are 100% organic, like "Porte Romane", which won the title of "Best Blonde in France". Or "Vintage", a limited series of beers aged in Chablis Premiers and Grands Crus oak barrels. Not forgetting "Rives du Serein", of course. There's a cosy bar where you can discover them all on site. You can also visit the brewery. It's worth noting that many establishments in the region have added Maddam to their menus.

More than a brewery, an institution! Here, you will find artisanal and organic beers: the light Blonde, the refined Brune and the sober Blanche. With also gluten-free beers, and - since this year - another one without alcohol! Multi-awarded at the International Competitions of Lyon and Paris, as well as at the World Beer Awards, Bières de Vézelay are distributed in many medium and large stores throughout France. And even internationally, as well as on the menus of the best restaurants in the region.

In this former flour mill, the beers are home-brewed, an artisanal microbrewery concept created by brothers Pierre-Elie and Quentin, brewers for 10 years. Opposite the Cité de la Gastronomie, discover this large space with a bar, exposed vats and large tables in an industrial-style planted decor. Wines, fruit juices and plates are also on the menu. In addition to being a friendly bar, Un Singe en Hiver combines pleasure and culture, with a 150 m² exhibition space upstairs dedicated to digital arts and contemporary music.

The reputation of Sénon's beers extends beyond the borders of the département. Founded in 1996, this craft brewery markets its brands "Thomas Becket" (the authentic ones), "Alesia" (the organic ones), and "Burgundia" (the original ones). In 2023, the highly qualitative "Héritage" was added. Or when the hops of Sençon invite whisky! In 2022, the brewery won no less than 7 medals at the Concours général de Paris and the Concours général de Lyon. Tours are also available.

In the heart of the Bertranges forest, Jacques and Denis opened their brewery in 2010: here, they make and design craft beers in very small quantities, 100% Nivernais! 5 beers have been created: the white Bertranges, the blond Bertranges, the amber Bertranges, the brown Bertranges and the Stout des Bertranges in the so Irish style! You can also do a brewing workshop: over the course of a day, learn the gestures and techniques for brewing at home!

Brown, white, amber, blonde... The microbrewer Odile Bondier can boast of having a production of beers labeled Nature et Progrès which translates its will to reach the "zero waste", in particular through the intermediary of returnable bottles. Its beers are made with local raw materials. The brewer as well as the beers are known for their character and their conviction. To taste her production, you can also go to the market of Avallon.

Initially based in the Tournus business incubator, Two Dudes has managed to grow and has just moved, at the beginning of 2024, to Crêches-sur-Saône. The premises are much larger, but the company's identity is still the same: combining beer and gastronomy. Come and discover Pierre's fine range of beers, and sample (by reservation and for groups only) Amandine's dishes, not far from the brewing vats. The two partners, with their solid background in the kitchen, also open their doors in bar mode on Thursdays and Fridays.

If you're a beer lover, then it's impossible to pass through Vézelay without taking a break, down in the village, at this independent microbrewery installed in 2019. Here, all the beers are brewed and bottled by hand in small quantities. Thus, each vintage is unique and composed of ingredients from organic farming. Among those proposed, we like the "Cuvée Blonde bio" with ginger, as well as the brunette with spices. Two very nice discoveries, among a generous and tempting offer!

In the heart of Irancy, La Cuverie brewery opened its doors in the old village school. Camille and Lucile, master brewer and brewer, create organic beers with a variety of styles and a unique character. La Cuverie also has a small shop where you can buy the beers directly from the brewery, as well as a nice terrace in summer to enjoy them with friends or family! Finally, these craft brewers also await you every weekend on the two most beautiful markets of the Yonne, those of Chablis and Toucy.

VIF beers were born in 2021 from the will of Thomas and Lara to differentiate themselves with character and modernity. We understand it by the choice of the can as container, by the aesthetics of the very artistic and colored labels realized by a watercolorist, before tasting them. The recipes are inspired by German beers with low fermentation and low alcohol content or hoppy and aromatic beers. At the bar, you're sure to nibble on local cheeses and charcuterie to accompany a Clamecy beer or an Irancy red. On the entertainment front, V & B regularly organizes themed events and concerts. Very popular for afterworks. Only one regret, on the cellar side: prices are a little high and there's not enough choice of entry-level wines..

The brewery offers a selection of craft beers inspired by mythological creatures and various fantasy genres such as medieval fantasy, space opera, steampunk and cyberpunk. Each beer has its own unique characteristics and flavors. Chimère, for example, is a Belgian triple with a roundness and strength that match the bitterness of the hops and the spicy aromas of the yeast. Faune is an American IPA featuring aromatic American hops with floral and citrus notes. La Griffon is a blonde ale inspired by German lagers, thirst-quenching and refreshing with cereal and honey aromas. Minotaure is a Scottish-style amber ale with malty caramel notes. Finally, Wolpert is a German-style white ale with banana and clove aromas. The brewery is the brainchild of three passionate brewers, Vincent, Mathieu and Baptiste, who share their passion for craft beer. Vincent is the brewery manager and enjoys sharing his passion for lambics, wild ales and sours. Mathieu has 5 years' experience in home brewing and loves roasted and dark beers. Baptiste manages the social networks and has a taste for ultra-hoppy beers.

Nicolas Lonjon brews his beers by hand in the heart of the old spa town of Pouguise. The Blonde, Amber, Brown and Christmas beers offer flavours subtly crafted to flatter the palate of connoisseurs! Mont Givre beers can be found in wine shops, bars and local restaurants. You will also find them at the many events organised in Pougues-les-Eaux. Artisanal beers, creations of a real enthusiast, that it is interesting to discover.

La brasserie artisanale de bourgogne, a beer in wine country! So much for setting the scene: firstly, the aim was to establish a craft brewery where wine is king, and secondly, to be 100% local. The challenge was almost met, since the cereals are organic and come from the Franche-Comté region, while the malting is done in Belgium, due to the lack of a French company. The raw materials go to BAB, who brew their own recipes for 6 cuvées. To be tasted on site.

There can't be any more Neversoise than this brewery in the heart of the ducal city! This is a 100% organic craft brewery, using organic French malt, organic hops and non-GMO yeast. To satisfy all palates, Daisy the light blonde, Circé the smoked redhead, Hilda the German-style white, Ishbel the golden blonde, and finally the declination of Georges (amber, copper...), will satisfy all thirsts! Present in Lille, Nantes, Montargis and Tours, this beer franchise has been expanding rapidly for several years. In 2023, it also set up shop in the Auxerrois region, in the Monéteau shopping zone, where beer lovers from all over the world can now come and treat themselves to the classics, but also unearth many nuggets. B comme Bière was born from Philippe's passion for beer: it is in the heart of the green Morvan that he set up his microbrewery to produce his beers in an artisanal way and in a short circuit. His beers are both sweet and amber, light and refreshing, or creamy according to the desires of the moment. The Pils, the Ambrée, the Brune and the seasonal beers are to be found directly at the brewery or on the markets of Saulieu and Alligny-en-Morvan. Bright Star is the brewery of Markus and Pam Brutsch, a Swiss-American couple who moved to the region in 2015. Located in downtown Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune, their brewery is the realization of an old dream. The range of homemade beers covers a broad spectrum, with blondes, browns, russets and pale ales, but also seasonal beers made in smaller quantities and according to the inspiration of the moment. Products are presented in 33 cl or 50 cl sizes, and some are available in casks. You can come and taste and shop at the same time.

Brasserie La Rustine is a little paradise for craft beer lovers in Epervans. Since 2015, it has offered a wide range of beers, from classics to the most original depending on the season. White, blonde, brown, peated amber for Christmas and pepper-smoked blonde... there's something for everyone! Events such as concerts and a Christmas market are also organized throughout the year. The brewery can be visited by reservation for groups of 8 or more.

It is in this old 19th century farmhouse that the brewer, originally from Liège, has installed his tanks and his passion for craft brewing.
