A new year for the young Cité de la Gastronomie et du Vin as it turns its attention to the people of Dijon! 2 years is celebrated on May 5 with a Giant Cluedo in the heart of the city. This beautiful castle has been in the same family since its construction, its history is transmitted from 1/07 to 31/08. For 26 years now, Avallon and the Avallonnais region have been offering Festivallon, one of France's longest-running festivals, running from July to September (or October, depending on the year). The Verte Green Lane, located on a former railway track, connects it to the one of La Machine, on 8 km (go). This easy-to-ride route, on foot or by bike, is punctuated with interpretive panels. The departure of this Green Lane takes place on the Hâlage Canal, where the bike of the same name passes. It travels over 175 kilometres between Auxerre and Decize along the canal created to reach Paris by the waters.

Chalon-sur-Saône is at the crossroads of many cycling paths. In the north, a Green Lane joins Chagny and Santenay, while in the south a second Green Lane joins Cluny. Also accessible to hikers, these itineraries are flat and secure. If you only have one hour, you can settle for the segment between Chalon-sur-Saône and Givry, 10 kilometres long. The path crosses the fields and vineyards that have made the international reputation of the region and leads to this municipality to the rich historical heritage, where you can turn half or continue towards the south.

This 12 km green lane offers you to discover the typical landscapes of Southern Burgundy. Between green fields and Romanesque buildings, the Brionnais is available to you. Inscribed in the Eurovélo 6 project (also called the «road road»), which runs through West France to connect Hungary, La Charity-sur-Loire is a step in the «La Loire by Bike» segment, 180 kilometers long. Cycling tours from the city are therefore multiple. You can start by connecting Marseille-lès-Aubigny by an hour walk along the Loire. And if you still have strengths, why not continue? The circuit continues for 30 kilometers to reach Nevers.

Every year, the ODG des Vins de Beaune organizes the Saint Vincent de Beaune event. On Saturday March 23, the event will take place at the Musée du Vin, in the Hôtel des Ducs de Bourgogne. A day of tastings of Beaune wines by Beaune's wine houses and estates. Baptiste Guyot presides over the Saint Vincent de Beaune and the ODG of the Beaune appellation, which, with its 415 ha, deserves to be better known. A Beaune permit has been created as a 40-question quiz, to give a broad idea of what wine is, and to better understand this appellation, which is the largest in the Côte d'Or.

Dijon's Ruée des Fadas 2024 will take place at Lac de Chour, after a totally successful 2023 edition. Just imagine, you sign up as a team, get dressed up and take part in a totally crazy obstacle course, in the mud and dust on an 8 to 12 km course that alternates portions of running in nature, overcoming natural obstacles, some of which are inspired by the obstacle course! You can run around them! Surpassing yourself in the effort, solidarity and mutual aid, and a taste for challenge are the values of this race where nothing is compulsory, no penalties or stopwatches, just an extraordinary adventure. After the effort, the comfort, it will be the party at the lake of Chour with restoration and concert.

The Van de Vyver organization returns to Dijon for superb endurance races from 4 to 6 hours and the 20 min sprints. Endurance GT/Tourism/LMP 3, Endurance Proto, Endurance HCV, V 150 Challenge, Challenge Funyo V of V… with more than 250 cars and pilots.

Organised by the ASAC Bourgogne - Association Sportive Automobile Club -, the Coupe de France des Circuits admits all possible and imaginable cars (Groups N/FN, A/FA, GT, C3/CM/CN, FC/F2000...) and, new in 2021, the Group 1 and N series Tourisms, the Peugeot 505 V6, Turbo and 2L atmo, and the Group 2, A and OPEN improved Tourisms.

Two days during which mythical car races will take place. 350 to 400 drivers will drive cars from the 1950s to 1990. Single-seaters, sport-protos, GT-tourism... 13 trays including the Legends Car Cup and Youngtimers GTI Cup.
