A new year for the young Cité de la Gastronomie et du Vin as it turns its attention to the people of Dijon! 2 years is celebrated on May 5 with a Giant Cluedo in the heart of the city. From May 8 to 12, it's Korea Week, with events and workshops on the Land of Morning Calm. On July 17, she'll be taking part in the passing of the Olympic Flame! In September, Show les Papilles returns for its third consecutive year, once again highlighting the finest local and regional gastronomic products. From October 14 to 20, it's Taste Week. At the beginning of July, for ten days, the Zaccros D'Ma Rue animate the streets of Nevers every year. At the heart of this beautiful festival, all the arts are represented: street shows, theatrical animations, in total more than 200 free performances (and for all audiences) are organized in more than twenty places in the city and in a dozen municipalities of the Nivernaise agglomeration. For 26 years now, Avallon and the Avallonnais region have been offering Festivallon, one of France's longest-running festivals, running from July to September (or October, depending on the year). Concerts are offered in restaurants and on bar terraces in Avallon, as well as in Joux-la-Ville, Montréal and Vézelay. It is not a city, but a whole region that has embarked on the organization of this festival which was born in Auxerre in 2001. 22 years later, Dijon, Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire, Chalon-sur-Saône, Nevers, Sens, Tournus and the Bresse region of Burgundy have joined the prefecture of Yonne in this beautiful adventure. The concept? From July¹ to August 31, the terraces of cafés and restaurants come alive and give a chance to artists through free concerts. Over the years, this festival has become a true national reference. It calls on artists from the 4 corners of the world to blow a wind of blues on the city of Charente. Like every time, this new edition will see a succession of concerts that will animate the terraces, the streets of the City of the Word, the Benedictine Garden, the Monks' Cellar, the village hall or the neighboring villages.
