AUX VIEUX PAVÉS
Read moreSince 2021, Aux Vieux Pavés has expanded onto Rue Buffon with a brasserie side and a catering offer. Everything is homemade: croques, waffles, gourmet quiches. The range of beers is extensive, as is the wine list. An address with a quiet spirit, with a games area, small lounges and two large terraces to enjoy the fine weather. The interior decor is enhanced by frescoes winking at the town of Semur-en-Auxois. Lucien Bottini's team generates a convivial good mood. Enjoy!
LE SAINT REGIS BISTROT
Read moreLike the restaurant, the bar at Saint-Régis Bistrot is decorated in Art Deco style, a perfect reflection of the period in which it was built, at the beginning of the 20th century. Wood, velvet curtains and armchairs, subdued lighting: the atmosphere is pleasant. As the day progresses, you'll come here for a coffee, a tea-break, a glass of wine or a cocktail with friends, or to enjoy the café-concert on the last Thursday of the month. A menu of snacks and pastries is also available when the restaurant is closed.
LE CAVEAU DE LA CHOUETTE
Read moreMay-Line, a dynamic young woman and heiress of a family of winegrowers from a Vosne-Romanée estate, was in charge of the Caveau de la Chouette before the place was taken over in April 2019 by Brian Verpeaux. While keeping the identity of the establishment, its new owner, who has made his mark in London and Paris, has adapted the concept to a wine and cocktail bar, refocusing its menu on 100% Burgundy wines. A la carte: Gevrey Chambertin, Pommard, Saint-Véran, Hautes Côtes de Nuits, or Saint-Romain, from 6 to 24 euros per glass or from 26 to 300 euros per bottle. The house proposes you to accompany your tasting with gougères, bruschettas, a board of cheeses and charcuteries or even snails from Burgundy. The novelty lies in the mixology, where you can savour delicious cocktails. As proof, the winery came third in the Burgundy mixology competition in January 2020. The atmosphere is festive and sometimes even supportive, during the broadcasting of football matches. Some may also privatize the place for tailor-made evenings.
LES VIEUX FOURNEAUX
Read moreStéphane Guénin's bar is a friendly place where all kinds of people meet, each at their own time, with the average age dropping dramatically on Friday evenings, bringing its share of entertainment to the charming village of Moloy. The bar is housed in a building that was once an inn in 1850. With rock music playing in the background, Stéphane's guitar hangs on the wall, ready to serve! Here, beef isn't just on the plate. On Friday evenings, the aperitif platters follow one another, as do the rounds of friends to the rhythm of the themed evenings.
PUB LE BRIGHTON
Read moreIn the Antiques Quarter, the Brighton is the oldest pub in Dijon and the most authentic with its decoration so typical of the pubs across the Channel! The good atmosphere is always there. We like to meet in its hushed atmosphere or completely overheated, especially during sports evenings. As far as drinks are concerned, you will have the choice between traditional and regional beers, beers from all over the world, wines, champagnes, rare whiskies and even some cognacs. Between concerts and matches, the Brighton is an English pub not to be missed!
DEEP INSIDE
Read moreThis is the rock bar in Dijon! The atmosphere is warm and noisy, the ideal to come to relax by listening to rock or metal with nice amateurs, young or younger, tattooed and/or bored for some… On the ground floor, the bar is rather dark with apparent stones, hanging chains, bidons which serve as tables; and in the basement, a cellar awaits you in a festive atmosphere! Finally, the place hosts many concerts with groups from here or elsewhere and which always offers a super dynamic show! In short, a special atmosphere and séduit the Dijonnais for many years.
L’ANTRE II MONDES
Read moreA unique place in Dijon, secluded and fantastic in the first sense of the word. You enter a medieval tavern with the simply impressive and imaginative decoration that propelling you in the lobby of another world: swords, skulls, medieval coats of arms… The inspiration fluctuates between a fantastic medieval spirit and a very dark trend underlined by goth sounds, heavy, metal, electro, death… Likely you will be dragged into role games or Soirées soirées evenings… Enjoy a map of atypical drinks such as mead or hypocras (home made!). The Bière, the Donjon beer or the milk of Brebiphant are served in the beer side. And if you have a little creux, you'll find all sorts of gueules here. For an aperitif, choose a cheese and cheese board or a genuine sausage from Auvergne. Moreover, you will have the choice of terrine (from the liver of grapes to grapes, wild boar, duck ducks), the still-based dishes of the hunter's meat (pork, chicken, beef, deer civet, chicken gizzards), omelettes, large salads, sprinkled toast, and rather classic desserts. In the evening, the tavern is transformed into a metal, rock and Gothic pub. Rest assured, don't have to have the blafard face, long hair and black clothes from head to foot to be welcomed by the boss. Another advantage of this bar for which we have a real heart: its excellent value for money. Pre-listening evenings of albums, conferences, exhibitions, dedications… are often organized. Finally, among the theme evenings that are very successful, the jack and roll or the steam punk, two costumed events not to miss!
L'ESCALE
Read moreIt has just celebrated its 50th anniversary. L'Escale is an institution! A concert hall which was originally the dance hall of the Hotel de la Réunion destroyed during the Second World War. Great names of the music-hall have passed through here: Trenet, Aznavour, Sydney Bechet... It is also where Johnny Hallyday honored his first contract, and where Jacques Brel made his debut. The line-up is such that it is often called the "Little Olympia". From now on, beginners and confirmed artists follow one another in this place dedicated to current music. And to jazz.

Finally, concerts, meetings, games evenings and exhibitions are organized. We love it!

Indeed, not only is it an excellent table and evening where the kitchen is fully made home, as evidenced by its label as Master Restaurant, but it is also an atmosphere bar and a discotheque. A complete establishment that looks at every client, regardless of age and state of mind. Even the interior decoration is half way between several styles: Stone walls, chandeliers and stone columns are accompanied by zébrés bar stools and contemporary art paintings. All the personality of Smart is summarized in this original atmosphere. Between the ground floor and the basement, you sail from one atmosphere to another. Cabaret evenings and concerts in clubbing evenings during which the Djs ignite the track with the tubes from 1980 to 2000, there is only one staircase. You can dance, drink a glass of good local wine on the map, enjoy a concert, you wiggle… everything depends on your desire of the moment.
