This mythical venue for Dijon concerts, founded in 1995 and completely renovated in 2018, offers the public two rooms, with 230 and 1,200 seats, as well as a dining area. In addition, it offers 7 rehearsal and musical creation studios for amateurs and professionals. You will inevitably find your happiness among the eclectic programming of the concerts: hip hop, punk rock, funk, electro, song... Young audience shows and film concerts are also offered. Since May 2019 a new free appointment is offered at 6pm, once a month on sunny days, Vapéro. On the menu: music, games, a bar and snack boards to start the evening off right.

The Théâtre Dijon-Bourgogne is one of the 33 national drama centres and offers, each year, a rich programme of plays to watch at the Salle Jacques Fornier or at Parvis Saint-Jean, an old church no longer dedicated to worship but which offers a majestic setting for classical plays and creations. From September to June, two performances are held each month for several days, allowing everyone to attend. Located at the entrance of rue Condorcet, a stone's throw from Place Darcy, this former cinema transformed into a theatre can accommodate about 500 people and hosts many shows. A sign inspired by the Roaring Twenties for a very eclectic programming throughout the year. French songs, jazz-inspired songs, comedians, plays: there's something for everyone. The Théâtre des Feuillants hosts many cultural events in conjunction with festivals such as À pas Contés, Tribu Jazz Festival, etc. In addition, the Association Bourguignonne Culturelle (ABC) has a programming priority and organises many long-awaited shows. In the 1930s, 210 rue d'Auxonne was a very popular dance hall, and since then, it has always been a success. For good reason: since 1987, the place has been offering an eclectic program that appeals to lovers of theatre, circus, humour, improvisation and music! In this human-sized venue, we are close to the artists and the emotions are palpable, and the audience is always there. The children have a program just for them and attractive prices allow all families to make the toddlers aware of the living culture. The Grand Théâtre, together with the auditorium, composes the Opera Dijon ensemble. This hall, completed in 1828, is quite simply magnificent with a capacity of 1,000 spectators. Outside, eight majestic columns welcome you and invite you to enter this temple of the arts, which was last renovated in 2005. The chandelier that adorns the ceiling of the hall alone weighs 700 kg, and like all the chandeliers in the building, it is made of Murano crystal. The paintings are also superb, and the foyer is well worth a visit. The hall has been home to all the great works of the classical repertoire and French theatre. The Cité de la Voix is a public institution that deploys its project throughout the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, relying on the sites of Dijon, Besançon and Vézelay where it has set up its headquarters. In 2020, it joined the network of National Vocal Art Centers initiated by the Ministry of Culture. It supports musical creation with 1,200 square meters available to artists to rehearse, record, perform and create, notably through the famous Rencontres musicales de Vézelay held each year at the end of August.

Since 2015, Monéteau has been home to one of the liveliest performance venues in the Auxerre region. While the Théâtre d'Auxerre presents plays mainly by contemporary companies, and the Silex showcases world music, the Skenet'eau offers a year-round program of one-man shows, children's shows, dance performances and concerts. Tango Swing et Bretelles, aka TSB, has enlivened Montcelli autumn for many years. In 2024, this musical festival changed its name (not yet revealed at the time of writing) and shortened its duration, condensing to three days, from September 26 to 28. It also concentrates on a single venue, the Embarcadère. What remains unchanged, a tradition too deeply rooted for Montcelliens, is the Foire aux grattons, which will celebrate this greasy culinary specialty on Saturday in the Place de l'Eglise.

In early May, Montceau-les-Mines is the heart of the Overseas Festival in Burgundy, which aims to highlight the role of Saône-et-Loire in the abolition of slavery. One of its highlights in 2024 will be a recital by Marie-Claude Bottius. Since 2013, young audiences in Dijon have had their own dedicated space! La Minoterie, a former army building and one of Dijon's largest flour mills, has undergone major renovations and now offers a 1,800^m2 space^entirely dedicated to the creation and artistic education of children. La Minoterie, run since its creation by the L'Artifice company, is a place for experimentation, research and creation... The space is divided into creation, rehearsal and performance rooms, one of which is 300^m2 and 7 metres high, and a more intimate 80^m2. Here, the various projects (the "valises des livres", the teenage troupe, the "nécessaire à théâtre" training course) are designed to bring young audiences and those accompanying them (parents, teachers, educators, etc.) into contact with artists from all disciplines and backgrounds. The program is rich, with La Minoterie Saturdays and quarterly events that introduce children to puppet shows, theater, dance, music and circus. La Minoterie also offers courses during the school vacations. In short, a complex entirely dedicated to nurturing the artistic talents of your little ones!

Close to the swimming pool, a large terrace on the banks of the river Yonne. A good festive atmosphere, we come here for fun and relaxation. The concerts contribute to this friendly atmosphere. This building with multiple roles testifies to the strong settlement of the region at the time.

This cinema is a true testimony to the city's architectural heritage. Built in the s, the semi-circular pediment of the facade is registered in the Additional Inventory of Historical Monuments.

Completely renovated in 1994, and sponsored by Catherine Deneuve and Bruno Putzulu, the Eden can accommodate up to 280 people.

Another event that has earned the town a European reputation for its flea markets is the organization of four huge flea markets (July 7, August 4, September¹ and 22, 2024), bringing together hundreds of exhibitors.

Every summer, Monceaux-le-Comte hosts the theater festival Les Heures Festives, organized by Les Livreurs and Bookson. During this period, visitors can attend solo theater performances every evening from 6:45pm. These shows feature a performer who brings a play to life in one hour, with only his or her voice as ally. The festival also offers weekend workshops, from 10am to 5pm, for those wishing to learn more about literature. These include a reading aloud workshop and a solo theater workshop. Participants can enjoy a bike ride through the region, with reading breaks and a picnic on arrival. Created in 2021 by Bastien and Aurélien, two enthusiasts who met at drama school, Kezaco is a theater café open all year round, with comedy plays, one-man shows and regular improvisation sessions, as well as children's shows and theater workshops. A true café-théâtre, where you can enjoy a drink, tapas and dessert before and after performances. A warm place dedicated to laughter and good humor, ideal for ending a day of sightseeing in style.
