We have not been cutting for many years, but we are manufacturing. Under the leadership of Pedro (the same one that also leads Chalon on the Street), L'Abatt is a place of creation, rehearsal and residence for street artists. The troops will find here a suitable structure, as well as logistical support to give life to their project. They are offered workshops to tinker with their amazing machines as well as aid for the dissemination and promotion of performances… Every end of residence is punctuated by representations called Public Buildings, open to the public and also free of charge. They take place in the Abattoir or outside, in neighbourhoods and have the right idea to end with a pot of friendship, history to meet artists and spectators. The Abattoir works throughout the year, hosting the permanent team, which ensures the programming and organization of the festival and the Quarties de Lune, the festival weekends held in spring, autumn and early December. Thanks to its newsletters and regularly updated website, you keep up to date on the news of the house.
