Come discover the flavors of freshly ground coffee at Caffè Gufo. The owner, Jean-Baptiste Legouge, who is passionate about roasting, is happy to tell customers about the secrets of making coffee. Located on rue de la Chouette, a stone's throw from the Square des Ducs, it's an opportunity to take a short break on the terrace to taste local and natural coffees, like those found at the Caféothèque in Paris. The menu is renewed every three weeks and the espresso, whether lungo or ristretto, costs two euros. The icing on the cake is that the house offers green coffee and infusions made from coffee cherries. Jean-Baptiste is still inspired by his trips to Italy to compose his menu, with for example the delicious Bicerin from Turin. The Comptoir des Négociants is not a bar like any other despite its institutional past as a PMU bar. It is a café, a store of good things and a place of exhibition. In early 2024, La Billebaude, Givry's flagship address, closed its restaurant section to focus solely on its beer bar side. From now on, the entire establishment will become a beer and wine bar. Bruno Fabris, the owner, has decided to offer a small number of wines, but to rotate the references, partly from the Givry appellation. As for beers, a hundred or so mousses, mostly from Belgium, are still on the menu.

L'Espace des Arts, well known to the people of Chalonnais, has been a Scène nationale since 2006. L'Arc is Le Creusot's national stage, offering first-rate shows and events. Here's a place we love at Le Petit Futé! The former garage on Place Dilo has recently been given a new lease of life by Alexandrine Sablayrolles and Sébastien Bouffay. This designer couple chose to settle in this corner of the Yonne to create their decorative objects, which can be purchased in their beautiful boutique while you relax over a coffee. You can even nibble on a dish (made with fresh, local produce, of course!), or enjoy the exhibitions organized there. And even, on a regular basis, shows, conferences and concerts. A real favorite!

The team at Le Galopin, just a stone's throw away, has just taken over this beautiful location in the heart of the pedestrian district. An emblematic downtown location, and a café where you can also enjoy tasty guédilles, typically North American sandwiches made with hot dog bread. The best-known? The lobster roll. But shrimp, egg or chicken rolls are also available. It's also worth noting that Epicerie du Galopin has been relocated here at the same time. Wines from the 11 wine growers of Ladoix, regional selections, local beers, homemade rum cocktails, an oenomatics allows to taste 8 wines. To accompany the meal, Damien prepares burgers with breads from the village baker, planks, makis and brunches. You can play board games. And it's close to the bicycle route!

Héritière of the National Circus School, founded by Annie Fratellinis, the Academy of the same name is an international centre of high-level training in circus arts and performances. Located in the district of La Plaine-Saint-Denis, in the business district, it covers 5 500 m ² entirely dedicated to the circus arts. The concert rooms, designed by architect Patrick Chine, are among the most exceptional in the Parisian region, including a large 1 600-seat tent, entirely wooden without any internal pole, and offering a privileged setting for all forms of show. The activity of the Fratellinis Academy offers a regular, demanding and popular programming, but also user-friendly, since "relaxation circus" is organized there, the dates of which are shown on the website.
