The Departmental Committee of the French Cyclic Federation (FFCT) comprises more than thirty associations, each bringing together some 1,200 practitioners. Between those who appreciate paved roads and ATV practitioners who prefer trails, each practice has two wheels in its own way, at its pace and in a healthy way. About fifty events and fifteen hikes are developed for both types of practice: " road "and vttistes. Demonstrations that allow the Committee to bring together all cyclists, and «promote friendship and friendliness among all cyclists». Are you a cyclist in Strasbourg? FUB is your ally! This national FEDERATION defends the interests of cyclists and works for a more cycle-friendly urban environment. Thanks to its vast network of 500 local associations, it campaigns for cyclists to be better taken into account in transport policies and urban planning. In concrete terms, it offers training courses on how to ride safely, participates in the development of cycle paths, raises public awareness of cycling issues and lobbies for bike-friendly public policies.
