The restaurants of the actor and comedian Pietro Chiambretti and his company Food & Company almost never disappoint. Here is one which has an exceptional frame, under the Galleria Subalpina, in the corner with Piazza Castello. The original cuisine offers Piedmontese dishes as well as Japanese sushi. The restaurant of the Ghedina lake is located in a fairy-tale place, which we advise you to reach on foot, through mountains and forests (see " Stroll > Ghedina lake). The main attraction of this place is the lakeside chalet, with its amazing blue-green colours in summer. A la carte, specialities of grilled meats (the most prestigious) on hot stone. On sunny days, a terrace also allows you to take a moment to relax and prolong your lunch and enjoy the magic of the panorama on the lake.

The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star by the famous chef Chris Oberhammer. Only five tables for 12 covers, nestled in the garden of the former Grand Hotel Dobbiaco. The family-inspired cuisine is as modern as the place itself. It relies on local products, flavors and colors of the region. The chef is always more inventive in the forms and combinations of flavors, each dish is a work of art and a delicious discovery. After effort comes comfort, doesn't it? In summer, walk to the Tétras Lyre refuge, a converted former mountain pasture building. You'll enjoy an exceptional panorama, alone in the middle of the mountains, and a hearty plate of Valle d'Aosta specialities. Enjoy a polenta or risotto on the delightful terrace, intoxicated by the fragrance of the surrounding pine trees and carried away by the sound of the Savara torrent flowing below. The refuge also offers self-catering accommodation: double, family or dormitory rooms.

The San Brite makes "agri-cuisine" its credo. This restaurant embraces the philosophy of a family united by the desire to live and eat in harmony with nature. As devotees of "regenerative" cuisine (products that help regenerate the soil), the land that nourishes us is respected and cherished, without being abused. The ingredients, exclusively seasonal, are worked by Riccardo, the head chef, who calls our ecological conscience to the plate and splashes us with pleasure with his talent. An experience that seduces both soul and palate.
