It's the first ecomuseum in France devoted to walnuts, and it presents every facet of the nut: origins, history, work, walnut cultivation in Périgord and walnut varieties, right up to the carving of this species of wood! The tour lasts around 45 minutes: it begins with a film on harvesting, enoisage, oil production, tree removal and walnut wood carving. In two other rooms, you'll discover how the walnut tree blooms, and the historical development of this crop in the local landscape.

Mais le guide a beaucoup trop parlé de sa vie. Après une longue attente on a le droit à deux petits pains à la truffe un peu décevants. Bref activité que je déconseille aux plus petits et aux perssones qui ne sont pas passionnées par la truffe.

Dommage que le moulin pour moudre les noix n'était pas en fonctionnement mais ce n'est pas grave, nous l'avons vu en fonctionnement dans la vidéo.
