Built in the late 15th century by the lord of Château de Castelnaud, Château des Milandes is famous for having been the home of Josephine Baker. The visit is designed as a journey into the world of this great artist. Owner Angélique de Saint-Exupéry is constantly improving the buildings, tours and events. The grounds have been awarded the "Remarkable Garden" label. Since January 2024, an escape game plunges you into the life of its illustrious former owner.

La visite est bien organisé, on peut admirer de superbes salles de bain d’époque qui valent à elles seules le détour. Il est possible de manger sur place avec un restaurant, un bar, un snack et même un foodtruck.
Le personnel est nombreux et accueillant. Seul petit bémol, la visite se fait uniquement avec un audioguide. Bien que les informations soient intéressantes, ce format devient un peu monotone à la longue. Une visite guidée avec un intervenant humain aurait apporté plus de vivant.
