Ferme Spiruline de Campagne, located in Campagne in Aquitaine, is a spirulina producer. Founded in 2013, it began production in 2015 with an 80 m² pond. Since then, the farm has increased its production by adding three new basins in 2016, bringing the cultivated area to 320 m². The farm's hard work and efforts were rewarded with the Innovation Trophy at the Salon International de l'Agriculture in 2016. Harvesting takes place early in the morning to guarantee the best possible quality. Campagne spirulina is sold direct at the farm or online, as well as in several local stores. The farm uses a historic strain of spirulina called Paracas, native to Peru. The spirulina produced by the farm is not certified organic.
