Le Cancalais is an institution in the Solidor district that has been around for over 30 years. The terrace, facing southwest, offers a superb view and it is pleasant to savor the moment. In front of you, the Solidor cove and at high tide, the sea spreads out at your feet and makes the experience marine and solar. A real place of meeting and conviviality, the tables get bigger as the evening goes by: the atmosphere is joyful and the place is well filled. Cheeses, charcuterie, homemade salmon rillettes as an aperitif or a main course are also offered.

Hygiène déplorable
Une vue magnifique ne justifie pas des tables et des chaises bonnes pour la déchètterie. Table collante, sale mais on y pose la commande! Il faut demander pour qu'elle soit nettoyée.

Excellente découverte, ne pas hésiter!
De passage à Saint Malo, je me suis retrouvé là sur les conseils d'un malouin car je recherchais pour déjeuner l'authenticité, la vue et l'ambiance. La carte est réduite car c'est avant tout un bar mais la qualité des produits et de cuisson est au rendez-vous, le cuistot est bon !!! Je me suis régalé. Le service est très agréable et l'équipe chaleureuse et très sympathique. La vue, quant à elle, c'est du bonheur ! Je recommande vivement un passage dans cet endroit très représentatif de Saint Malo et de l'ambiance malouine! Thierry G

Petite pause au soleil
Bar très agréable grâce à sa terrasse au soleil, face à la tour solidor. Personnel sympa et agréable.
