Its construction started in 1834 and it took three years to build this tower of 44 metres. Its electification was done before the Second World War. At sixty-seven meters above the English Channel, it lights up to 36 km at sea. 198 steps allow you to reach the top of the platform: you can enjoy a panorama stretching from Sept-îles to the east in the Virgin Island to the west, at the entrance of Aber Wrac'h, via the entrance of Morlaix bay.
