This independent marine counter, installed since 1972 in an old tide mill, exudes an atmosphere that is both beautifully old-fashioned and timeless. Its three floors look like an Ali Baba's cave where lines, rods, reels, lockers and lures of all kinds are spread out before your eyes. You'll also find something to face the open sea in style: sailors' shoes, peaches, hats, docksides, boots and other oilskins. And if your boat needs a face-lift, you'll find antifouling paint and deck fittings. The salesmen are a good source of advice.
