The scaled mosaic house located at Corderie, Street 20 and the house with broken tiles and molten glass frontage located at 24 were constructed by Odorico, in the 1930s. The family business was created in Rennes, in 1882. For the first generation, the technicality of work was more important than the artistic side. As Isidore the son took over, the style of the Odorico house also changed certainly as a result of his studies in fine arts at Rennes which added to the style of the place than the technical achievement. He changed the identity of the enterprise into Art deco. In Saint-Brieuc, Gilbert’s pastry also bears the Odorici seal.
