In the 18th and 19th centuries, Quintin was a renowned centre for the production and trade of linen cloth, renowned for its fineness and whiteness. Here you will discover the work of the weaver, in a playful way, with demonstrations on period tools. The guided tour shows the stages in the manufacture of the cloth, from the seed to the export to Latin America. Workshops for children are offered every holiday (weaving, archaeology, etc.).

Personnel désagréable, nous nous sommes vus refuser une visite par manque de place. Il aurait fallu installer un système de réservation pour que tous puissent accéder à l'exposition durant leur visite de Quintin.
Si j'avais pu ne mettre aucune étoile, je n'aurais pas hésité une seconde. Très déçue .

Une visite très intéressante puisqu'en trois quarts d'heure nous avons compris comment on passait de la plante, à la fibre puis au tissu et cela démonstration à l'appui. Une pédagogie par l'exemple, illustration concrète de tous les savoir-faire qui disparaissent...

Musée très intéressant s effectuant en groupe restreint, la visite est parfaitement commentée . A découvrir !
