Things to see and do Quintin

In 1887 in neo-Gothic style, it replaces the old college. It houses the statue of Notre-Dame-de-Deliverance, which is known to offer protection to women who want a child. It has an exceptional relic: one piece of one of the belts of the Virgin, as well as the relics of Saint Thurian. On the second Sunday in May, one can follow the forgiveness of Notre-Dame-de-Deliverance. Also the starting point of a procession to the torchlight organised on Friday Saint in memory of the passage of Saint Vincent Ferrier in 1418.

Small City of Character, Quintin conceals architectural wealth (15 listed or inscribed monuments). Pass by the tourist office, to get some brochures and precious advice. A tour allows you to discover the history of the town, by walking through its streets and its numerous alleys: from the Middle Ages (fortifications and a gate still exist) to the flourishing period of the 17th and 18th centuries, when the town was an important centre of the Breton cloth manufacture, which is attested by beautiful private mansions of cloth merchants.
