Castle among the most beautiful castles of pure Louis XIII style in Brittany.
Built in 1628 not far from the old fortified manor of the 13th century, now disappeared, of the Beaumanoir family, overlooking Evran, it is one of the most beautiful castles of pure Louis XIII style in Brittany. You will be able to admire the exterior freely during the summer. The castle is private after having belonged to the General Council which installed there in the 1960s a medical institute. You will be struck by the impressive Italian Renaissance style door and by its square towers which give it a real originality, as well as the roofs in the shape of an overturned boat! Many public events are held at the castle, which is also open for rent for private events.
