Tower offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Dinan region and the Rance valley.
Erected at the end of the 15th century by the Dinannais bourgeoisie, the Clock Tower towers 47 meters above the medieval town. In 1501, Duchess Anne granted the Dinannais the privilege of owning a clock in their communal tower. The mechanism, manufactured in Nantes and still visible today, is one of the oldest in Europe. The climb up the steps is rewarded by a breathtaking panorama of the Dinan region and the Rance valley. Also worth seeing is the film Dinan in 1750, based on computer-generated images.

Bâtiment curieux et magnifique en plein centre de la vieille ville de Dinan, la Tour de l'Horloge mérite la visite.

Un beau panorama de la ville médiévale, ses remparts et la vallée se dévoile depuis le haut de la tour de l'horloge. Monter les marches vaut la peine pour l'admirer !

Curieuse contruction au coeur du vieux Dinan, la Tour de l'Horloge offre un architecture magnifique et originale! Il faut absolument gravir les 45mètres pour monter au clocher via les 158 marches! De la haut, nous avons une vue imprenable à 360 degrés de la ville de Dinan et un panorama sur le Dinan "ancien" avec ces belles maisons à colombages.

Pour une vue panoramique sur Dinan et ses toits n'hésitez pas à monter les marches (et l'échelle de meunier!) qui mènent au sommer de la tour de l'horloge. Attention à ne pas s'y trouver lorsque la cloche sonne par contre!
In the centre of Dinan old the clock tower is truly superb and domione the valley of the rance. To climb the steps, the view is worth a look.
