Museum dedicated to Yvonne Jean-Haffen, installed in a former private residence of the artist in Dinan, to discover.

This house was the private home of the artist Yvonne Jean-Haffen who loved to receive her artist and writer friends such as Mathurin Méheut, Florian Le Roy or Roger Vercel. Her many personal objects are still there, which makes it possible to organize a thematic exhibition every year. An artistic atmosphere emanates from this house, as if out of time, with its wooded garden and terraces with an idyllic panorama, which makes the visit all the more pleasant.

Èlève (et un peu plus!) de Mathurin Meheut, Yvonne Jean-Hafen a laissé une maison et un parc magnifiques à la ville. De très belles réalisations de l'artiste cotoyent celles d de Meheut. La maison est petite et, en cas d'affluence, il peut être difficile de s'y mouvoir. En revanche, la maison étant à l'extrémité du port de Dinan, il peut être difficile de se garer donc beaucoup de parking sauvage.

Très jolie maison, jardin agréable : quelle belle découverte ! Nous avons couplé notre visite avec le musée Mathurin Méheut à Lamballe avec l’exposition de leurs Lettres Dessinées, qu’ils s’envoyaient avec Yvonne Jean-Haffen. (Juste un petit détail : mon GPS m’envoyait à Glomel !!! En centre Bretagne ! Attention à bien vérifier le trajet avant de partir ????)
