Domaine Fahrer: Alsace wines between Rorschwihr and Saint-Hippolyte: Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Noir and charming guest rooms.

This family business has 9.5 hectares of vines between the communes of Rorschwihr and Saint-Hippolyte. The wines are mostly young. There is, for example, a magnificent Riesling Le Vin du Jardin 2021 (a must with oysters or sauerkraut) and a sublime Muscat " Le Chant des Oiseaux " 2022 : powerful and greedy, a marvel with spring asparagus. Don't miss out on the Amour Éternel Rouge de Saint-Hippolyte 2021 Pinot Noir, aged in Burgundy barrels: toasty vanilla and tannins. 5 charming rooms for visiting guests.

We came here for a wine tasting two years ago and wanted to do an overnight stay this time. This is a lovely traditional family run business. It is primarily a winery with 5 quaint and clean hotel rooms. The breakfast is included and has everything you need. You can book a tour through the winery and different options for wine tastings. We tried almost all their wine and bought some white wine and rosé. The flavour is great and the price value is fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Nous avons été extrêmement satisfaits par la visite du domaine. Les explications de Clarisse sur l’histoire familiale et le métier de vigneron nous ont passionnés! Les enfants ont posé beaucoup de questions, elle a toujours répondu avec patience et gentillesse, un immense merci ????
Et la dégustation qui a suivi était tout aussi réussie, nous sommes repartis avec 4 caisses de vin, crémant et jus de raisin pétillant. On reviendra ????

Hermoso todo!!! La guiada de Natalia por la bodega fue de lujo, muy clara y amena, la cata con degustacion estuvo magnifica, la habitacion muy comoda y el desayuno, mas que suficiente. Muy recomendable!!!
