Nestled at the foot of the Haut-Kœnigsbourg, the estate has 13.5 hectares of vines. Benoît and Christophe Iltis produce authentic wines, in harmony with the terroir from which they come. In the cellar 100% in its juice, beautiful hundred-year-old barrels let the 7 Alsatian grape varieties and the Red of Saint-Hippolyte in particular mature. The 2018 vintage from old vines is a delight. Book the gîte for 2 people in a duplex in a half-timbered house in Saint-Hippolyte.

This time to Iltis Jacques et Fils in Saint-Hippolyte. We have over 40 years of deep interest in wine and came here with no preconceived notions but were pleasantly surprised. What fantastic wines are produced here. Both in width and depth, they maintain a high level. Add to that a fantastic reception with interesting discussions and good information about the wines.
