Renaissance castle in Southern Burgundy, nicknamed the Fontainebleau of Burgundy, surrounded by park with chapel and garden.

Château de Sully is a Renaissance architectural gem, nicknamed the "Fontainebleau of Burgundy". Since 1750, it has been the residence of the Mac-Mahon family. It is set in parkland, with a kitchen garden classified as a "remarkable garden". Discover it on guided tours and, during school vacations, on themed tours for children, expertly led by an actor. You can also picnic and meet the farmyard animals. Part of the site can also be used for private events.

Visite agréable, en partie grâce à la gentillesse et à l'enthousiasme de la jeune guide.
La magie du lieu y est, bien entendu, pour beaucoup, même si on rêve de voir toujours davantage d'éléments intérieurs.
Les façades et les extérieurs du château sont splendides

Un accueil charmant de l'entrée dans la boutique jusqu'à la visite guidée du château. La domaine est magnifique et bien entretenu, il y a également des animaux de la bascourt dans le parc. La guide était très sympathique et nous en avons beaucoup appris sur ce magnifique château rempli d'histoire. Merci

Interesting chateau, although partly open to the public. Parking for motorhome easy. Tour guide disappointing, she could speak English but chose to speak only French which did not feel very inclusive. Handout was available in English but seemed a bit out of date.
