Solutré-Pouilly, a beautiful prehistoric site that contributes to the reputation of the Sud-Mâconnais region

Culminating at an altitude of 493 metres, the Roche de Solutré rises out of the landscape like the tip of a ship in a storm. Surrounded by the Roche de Vergisson and Mont Pouilly, this limestone escarpment is classified as a "Grand site de France". You don't need to be a keen walker to reach the summit and enjoy the breathtaking views. From the parking lot, the circuit is around 4 km long, with a 100-meter positive gradient on a steady slope. Also known as an important prehistoric site, it houses a fascinating museum.

Une ballade bien sympathique
Une petite ballade de 1h pour arriver en haut du sommet ne présentant aucune difficulté et offrant une belle vue sur les vignes de Saône et Loire. Bien sympathique.

Une belle idée de sortie...gratuite ! Ballade sympa au milieu des buis puis de la roche et enfin sur une prairie jusqu'au sommet atteint en moins de 30 minutes. Avec à la clé une très belle vue et un grand bol d'air, surtout en cas de chaleur. A ne louper sous aucun prétexte !

Belle balade pour accéder au sommet. Il faut compter une demi heure de marche. Magnifique point de vue sur la vallée de la Saône, sur les Alpes par beau temps et sur le vignoble.
