A warm and friendly atmosphere in this family home transformed into a guest house, just a stone's throw from the famous Solutré rock.

For five generations, the Lapierre family has been cultivating vines at the foot of the Roche de Solutré. At the same time, Romain, the current owner, has created a generously proportioned guest house in an old building. Veranda, relaxation area with pool table, table soccer, video projector and local wine tasting make this place a little paradise. Electric bike rides, vintage car tours and massages are also available.

Ma-gni-fique endroit tenu avec énormément de gentillesse et de disponibilité par Romain. La restauration de la maison est tout simplement exceptionnelle. Je ne saurai trop vous conseiller d'aller la visiter via le site. Tout est pensé et conçu pour le bien être des visiteurs. Propreté parfaite. Bref, nos amis, Eliane et moi avons été "scotchés"! Nous n'avions pas encore de point de chute lors de nos périples dans le Maconnais. Cette lacune est comblée. Cerise sur le gâteau: les vins proposés par Romain sont vraiment d'une belle finesse et d'une grande qualité.

Solutré is one of our favorite places to stay in this area, and Chez Romain will become a regular visit for us, I think. The building is beautifully renovated. The hosts are immensely friendly. The concept is a delicious mix of traditional and modern, aware of its history yet aware of the latest comforts and trends. The wines made by the hosts are also fantastic, a taste of the local culture. The room we stayed in was cozy and the breakfast was both generous and delicious.
