Domaine Pierre Frick in Pfaffenheim: organic and biodynamic Alsace wines, no added sulfites, Grands Crus, exceptional Sylvaner

Converted for a long time to organic farming (1970) and biodynamic farming (Demeter, 1981), this estate has been awarded a star by the Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2021! A precious recognition of the work done by Jean-Pierre Frick, pioneer of wines without added sulfites. Praised for their non-academic character, these excellent wines are available in the "Pure Wines - Zero Sulfite Added" range. To be tasted during your visit, the Pinot Gris 2018 Macération with its surprising cherry color and subtle aromas of red currant and pomegranate!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Frick at Brutes Salon, and their passion for winemaking was absolutely inspiring. They took the time to explain each vintage, sharing insights into their meticulous processes. You could feel their deep love for their craft in every word. True pioneers of the natural wine movement, they spoke humbly of others in the region who joined them in this journey. Unbelievable wines, unforgettable people.

Rispetto. È la parola adatta a questo grande uomo e la sua affascinante produzione. Rispetto per il terreno (il primo fattore del successo) rispetto per la scelta e la cura del vitigno (biologico, biodinamico, naturale) in tutte le sue accezioni. Rispetto per il consumatore, solforosa praticamente inesistente in oltre il 90 % dei vini, frutto del solo (solo?) accompagnamento dell'uomo nella trasformazione dell'uva in quel nettare emozionale che sono i suoi vini. I fantastici quattro (e non solo) qui hanno delle sfumature e delle evoluzioni imprevedibili, vini non per tutti ma che tutti dovrebbero provare per scoprirne il fascino. Vini che dopo 6 giorni dall'apertura sono ancora vivi, trasformisti, intriganti. Non abbiamo trovato ciò che cercavamo ma molto di più... E come dice Monsier Pierre... "C'est la vie"!
