This valley-side village, at an altitude of 800 m, exudes charm and fresh air. In winter, it's a friendly little ski resort, and in summer, it's a great place for hiking. Divided into a number of hamlets, it combines aerial landscapes on the heights, with flower-filled alpine pastures and shady forests in summer, and traditional farms where you can find healthy produce. The main town has a small Spar mini-market and a museum of traditional costumes in a beautifully renovated house. A peaceful base camp to recharge your batteries and explore the Vorarlberg and its lakes. Half an hour from Bregenz, it's like being at the end of the world!
