Museum in Fürth with exhibits tracing Ludwig Erhard's career and the history of the German economy.
On one side of the street is the birthplace of Ludwig Erhard, the second chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany between 1963 and 1966. The son of small businessmen from Fürth is credited with the "economic miracle" of the reconstruction years, when Erhard was Minister of Economics under Adenauer in Bonn. The exhibits trace his life from his birth in 1897 to 1945. On the other side of the street, the exhibition is dedicated to the post-war period. A well-done (but biased and too uncritical) museum that explores his life and the history of the German economy.
