Navaluenga is a village of just under 2,000 inhabitants. It is a crossing point on a secondary road between Lake Burguillo and the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park, and it receives mainly tourists in transit between these two places. There is little to see, except the parish church of Our Lady of the Villares, built in the 13th-14th centuries, and the Romanesque bridge from the 16th century that spans the Alberche river to the south of the village. You can of course enjoy yourself sitting on the terrace of one of the many cafés in the village, especially in the small Plaza España, in the centre and opposite the town hall.
