Gagnoa is a city of about 210,000 inhabitants of economic importance in Côte d'Ivoire, as it is located in the middle of plantations of cassava, cocoa, yams, rice, coffee and plantain. Its name Ga-gnoa means " the inhabitants of the cheese maker". Mainly populated by Bété, Laurent Gbagbo's stronghold, Gagnoa finds itself at the center of tremors at each election. For the past few years, this city has organized the Djadjoh Carnival festival. You can stop there between two buses on the road to San Pedro and enjoy the informal atmosphere of the center of a large city of Côte d'Ivoire with the privilege of being the only tourist
