From San Pedro via Djorotrou or from Guiglo via Douékoué (in this case, plan this excursion just after Man and before Gagnoa in the itinerary), it is possible to go to the Taï National Park, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site and known for its rich natural flora of chimpanzees. Be sure to mark out your route, aswestern Côte d'Ivoire has always been and remains a complex region to access.

It is easy to spend a whole day marvelling at the old colonial buildings in the France district, a veritable open-air museum, but it would be a shame to miss the pleasures of the beach and its string of hotels and restaurants, not forgetting the pirogue rides on the lagoon. And finally the effervescent Bassam by night, in the joyful local agitation.

Day 15: Assinie

Steps: Assinie

Last but not least, here you are in Assinie, about sixty kilometers further. Long sandy beaches, bordered on one side by the lagoon and on the other by a jealous and exclusive sea, in a heavenly configuration. Here, everything is possible: idleness under the coconut trees, long walks on the beach.

Day 16: Assinie

Enjoy activities on site: fishing, skiing, buoyancy, wakeboarding and even flyboarding on the calm waters of the lagoon, excursions in pinnace or 4x4 to discover the surroundings, visits to fishing villages...
