When it comes to organic wines, Clos des vignes du Maynes probably has the most experience of any vineyard on the Côte Viticole, celebrating 70 years of organic farming in 2024. Cultivated since the year 910 by the monks of Cluny, its 7 hectares have even been biodynamically farmed since 1998. The estate produces several Chardonnay and Pinot Noir appellations, including mâcon-cruzille and mâcon-villages. Another original feature is the use of a 1923 still to produce eaux-de-vie.
