Built in the 17th century on medieval foundations, this moated Renaissance-style château is an object of great beauty. Guided tours take visitors through the sumptuous apartments, decorated and gilded like the finest châteaux of the period. The rest of the building is also well worth a visit, particularly the French gardens, which have little to envy those of the Loire châteaux. Disappeared in the 19th century, they were recreated in the 1990s. They include a vegetable garden and a labyrinth to delight children.

Cet édifice est somptueux et une très belle demeure. Son architecture et son allure dégagent une élégance certaine, invitant à la contemplation depuis les jardins. Ces jardins sont manifestement un atout majeur, un espace idéal pour flâner tranquillement. La possibilité de s'asseoir dans les transats mis à disposition ajoute une touche de détente très appréciable. Le labyrinthe de verdure est une addition ludique et agréable, parfaite pour une promenade légère et amusante.
À l'intérieur, la présence de belles peintures d'époque permet d'entrevoir un peu de l'histoire et de la vie qui animait autrefois ces lieux.
