This Renaissance style castle is the most inspired of the Loire castles with its sumptuous apartments, its gilded rooms...

Built in the 17th century on medieval foundations, this moated Renaissance-style château is an object of great beauty. Guided tours take visitors through the sumptuous apartments, decorated and gilded like the finest châteaux of the period. The rest of the building is also well worth a visit, particularly the French gardens, which have little to envy those of the Loire châteaux. Disappeared in the 19th century, they were recreated in the 1990s. They include a vegetable garden and a labyrinth to delight children.

Très beau château particulièrement les salles 17eme. Prendre les visites guidées. Jardin à la française. Un miracle de conservation malgré les périodes d'abandon.

Les marquis d’Huxelles voulaient faire construire ce château pour impressionner et montrer leur réussite. C'est très réussi !!!! Nous avons été impressionnés par la qualité et la beauté des intérieurs, notamment les plafonds. Les jardins sont également magnifiques avec en prime un nid avec 3 cigogneaux !!!!

Superbe château visité à plusieurs reprises.
Des jardins magnifique et bien entretenu, de nombreuses pièces splendide.
Le dôme extérieur est jolie et on peut monter dedans en passant par un labyrinthe.

Parc magnifique , château avec beaucoup de pièces à visiter. Cabinet de curiosité etc.. La guide nous à fait visité se beau château, et son histoire, il très bien entretenu par les propriétaires actuel du lieu.
