An open cenote of 70 m in diameter, with a floating wooden platform in the middle in Cenotillo

In 2009, a group of young people from Cenotillo decided to take action against the disastrous conditions in which the cenotes were located. Thus was born theAlianza Ambiental Ts'ono'ot Kaaj, which sees in alternative tourism an opportunity to manage local natural resources and generate income that can curb the rampant emigration. It is successful and the team is at your disposal! A 14 meter ladder leads to this open cenote of 70 meters in diameter. A floating wooden platform sits in the middle of the cenote, ideal for catching the sun's rays.
