Caves at 12°C with an underground river and an archaeological museum, the largest visible bear ossuary in Europe.

The Grottes d'Azé are one of the local natural masterpieces. The tour takes in two of the seven caves discovered. You first follow the underground river, then enter the prehistoric section, occupied by cave bears and humans 300,000 years ago. In July and August, opt for a special children's tour or an oeno-geological discovery, to better understand, glass in hand, the close links between vines and geology. A visit by headlamp is also a great way to get to know the underground river.

Very interesting caves with geological formations and prehistoric animal remains. Knowledgeable guide, but only in French. Audio guide in English for some reason not available.

Attrape touriste.
