Caves at 12°C with an underground river and an archaeological museum, the largest visible bear ossuary in Europe.

The Grottes d'Azé are one of the local natural masterpieces. The tour takes in two of the seven caves discovered. You first follow the underground river, then enter the prehistoric section, occupied by cave bears and humans 300,000 years ago. In July and August, opt for a special children's tour or an oeno-geological discovery, to better understand, glass in hand, the close links between vines and geology. A visit by headlamp is also a great way to get to know the underground river.

Nous sommes venus pour nous balader en famille sur le sentier de découverte. On nous a interdit l accès car le sentier est interdit aux chiens !???? A quand l interdiction aux enfants ? Ils font pipi sur les bords de chemins et piétinent les fleurs!! Il y a trop d abus vraiment les gens font n'importe quoi! ????

Joli lieu à découvrir, une guide sympa avec des explications très claire et qui captive le public durant toute la visite. Bien prévoir de quoi se couvrir, la température descend vite à l'intérieur. Pensez à réserve.

Très joli visite lors de la journée du patrimoine. Entrée gratuite pour les 2 grottes. Guide super. Explications très intéressantes. Photos interdites à l'intérieur. Accessible à tous, attention 1 peu glissant comme tt les grottes. Prévoir 1 ptite veste. Température 12°c. Durée 1h30.
