Caves at 12°C with an underground river and an archaeological museum, the largest visible bear ossuary in Europe.

The Grottes d'Azé are one of the local natural masterpieces. The tour takes in two of the seven caves discovered. You first follow the underground river, then enter the prehistoric section, occupied by cave bears and humans 300,000 years ago. In July and August, opt for a special children's tour or an oeno-geological discovery, to better understand, glass in hand, the close links between vines and geology. A visit by headlamp is also a great way to get to know the underground river.

Het was leuk om door de twee grotten te lopen. De kinderen vonden het erg interessant. Gids sprak super goed Engels. En we hadden oortjes in waarin de informatie gedeelt werd in het Nederlands.

Le guide explique très bien, la visite est très intéressante, mais le seul Hic,,, les enfants en bas âge,, de 2a 5 ans ,,,, on a été parents et maintenant grand parents et il ne nous viendrait pas à l'idée d'emmener nos petits enfants dans un lieu étroit, sombre, et froid, pendant une bonne heure, ou il ne faut pas toucher et se taire....
Résultat ça pleure, ça piétine, et ça embête tout le monde y. c les parents....
Non seulement les petits n apprécient pas, mais ne s'en souviendront pas non plus...
