After climbing up to the historic heart of the town of Autun, take a gourmet break in this delightful tearoom with its refined decor. The mother-daughter duo Annick/Axelle provide a truly enchanted interlude. While Axelle puts all her talent into preparing delicious sweets (entremets, viennoiseries, cookies...), her mother Annick serves with a smile. Each season has its own speciality. Here, we work the traditional way, using as many local products as possible. Cream, butter, flour and fruit come primarily from Burgundy.

The Irish pub, run since 1984 by the emblematic Ginette and Gilbert, has inevitably been the HQ of all Autunois at one time or another. The establishment ticks all the pub boxes, from the decor to the live broadcasts of sporting events that thrill the crowds, not to mention the drinks menu (over 80 beers and numerous spirits) and the snack offer (croque-monsieur, sausages, cheese...). A billiards room and a large terrace are also part of the soul of the place. And of course, concerts and festive events are regularly organized.

Chez Virgule is open from early morning until very late at night and the following morning. During the day, we serve breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. But the bar is open at all hours. Serious business takes place in the cellar, with its festive atmosphere, wine bar, cocktails, beers and frequent Happy Hours, where you can relax and have fun. Beware, however, that on the evenings when rugby or other matches are being broadcast, there's no room for music! A place for sharing and conviviality, where it's good to take a break.
