The Telica is an active volcano. Fumaroles and big continue to escape since its last violent eruption of 1948. It measures 1 061 metres and has a large crater 120 metres deep and 700 metres in diameter. St. Jacinthe's hot springs, which are also possible to begin a hike to the volcano, are connected to the volcano.
