El Icacal beach is a very wild sandy beach surrounded by mangrove trees. A community of 40 families lives there, mainly fishing. It is possible to make kayaking tours of mangroves and to observe its rich flora and fauna, including many birds… and even crocodiles. Four species of turtles also do their nests, and with some luck you may be able to cross (especially between November and February).
