Restored castle with royal stables, restaurant and guest rooms, hosts artistic and cultural events
Like a phoenix, Château des Bordes has risen from the ashes, thanks to the love and dedication of a family of enthusiasts who, in 2013, purchased the then decrepit château. With a past dating back to the 11th century, the château is gradually regaining the splendor it displayed in the 17th century, with its splendid royal stables. Take advantage of a visit to discover the history of the site! The château regularly hosts artistic and cultural events. A restaurant and guest rooms are also available all year round.

Also, pastries, juice, homemade jam, and coffee given for breakfast in their beautiful dining room.
Francoise was incredibly lovely and told us all about the history of the house, their renovation process etc. It was very interesting and they've done an amazing job.
The grounds are beautiful. We walked around to see the horses, sheep, hens, and dogs. The dogs in particular were super friendly. Their cat, Grim, maybe stole the show though. I've never met a friendly cat.
The restaurant on site is amazing. We've eaten at many many nice restaurants and this one is near the top of best ever. Super charming setting, the server Phillip was excellent, food amazing and price half of what they could charge. We ate there two nights in a row and both perfect.
Stay here!
