The sources of the Ter and Freser rivers are located in a natural area typical of the high Pyrenean mountains
They are surrounded by 2 peaks, Puigmal at 2,910 m and Costabona at 2,400 m, in a natural setting typical of the Pyrenean high mountains. In fine weather, you can see fine gullies of water escaping from the upper basin, and if you look up, you can see the Mediterranean in the distance, where their course ends. To get there, if you're not keen on high-mountain hiking, you can always take the chairlift, which runs every 20 minutes.
