An original Roman bridge, this year 1138 bridge offered much easier access to the city. Destroyed by the earthquake of 1428, it was rebuilt in a Gothic style, with its arched arches. In 1976, at the end of the civil war, it was dynamited and again rebuilt, remaining faithful to its previous structure.
